Louise Bichan is a fiddler and photographer, hailing from Orkney in Scotland, now living in Maine, having graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Her debut album Out of My Own Light follows the story of her Grandmother Margaret and her 1950 adventure to Canada, from Orkney. During this time with her Canadian relatives, Margaret had a decision to make, between two suitors. With a new release of original and traditional fiddle tunes in the works, Bichan takes to the road in 2022, with mandolinist Ethan Setiawan, guitarist Conor Hearn and cellist Brendan Hearn.
